Yiibu is thrilled to be working with the Symbian Foundation on a series of projects to support the Symbian platform. Recent activities have included participation in the Symbian UI Workshop held in London in conjunction with the SEE09 expo.

Application design
In 2009, Yiibu was approached to design the Series 60 version of a lifestyle application for a major operator.
Our role: interaction design, rapid prototyping, visual design based on extensive brand style guidelines
Research and usability analysis
Yiibu was approached by Beatbrew, a Phillips Lifestyle Incubator company to complete an expert usability analysis of an Alpha stage multi-platform entertainment service. During a follow-up research stage, we also conducted a competitive analysis and provided feature-set recommendations for the upcoming Beta service.
Our role: expert usability analysis of Alpha product, cross-platform competitive usability and experience analysis.
Application design
Yiibu has been working with dotMobi to enhance the user experience of DeviceAtlas and assist in the design of several new application features.
Our role: Conceptual and interaction design, visual design, XHTML/ CSS.

Yiibu was approached by Truth, a strategic insight consultancy to provide insights on the lifestyle of consumers in emerging economies as part of a major research project for a top handset vendor.

User interface and visual design
Since 2006, Yiibu has been deeply involved in the user interface and interaction design of Urban Interactive’s lifestyle entertainment products including the S60 and iPhone version of Urban Sleuth an award winning augmented reality tourism adventure.
Our role: conceptual development, information architecture, interaction and user interface design.
Handset customization
Yiibu collaborated with Future Platforms throughout 2008 on a series of extensive handset customization projects for a major handset vendor.
Our role: creative direction, technical consulting, theme implementation, testing.
